Ffyona
Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, raised nearby, and now living in Melbourne, Australia, Ffyona’s first camera arrived at the same time as APS films. She shot everything in ‘H’ or “Panoramic’ mode, and mostly it was pictures of hills and dogs, some might say not a lot has changed.
For most of the 2010s she was content with mobile photography, until a frustrating trip to Iceland in early 2019 made her realise mobiles weren’t quite going to cut it any more. A ‘real’ camera arrived shortly after, and so too a reinvigorated joy of slowing down and watching the world through a different view.
Ffyona predominantly shoots landscape, nature, and street photography using a Canon DSLR and a 1974 Hasselblad 500CM.
